AH&LA Educational Institute provides industry-tested, research-driven hospitality training via internet, DVDs, textbooks, seminars, and professional certifications. Members receive a 25 % discount off all training materials if purchased through OLA. Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) and other professional certification is available through the AH&LA Educational Institute's website.
Travel Oregon's Quality Care (Q Care) Customer Service Training Program is a statewide certification program that provides standardized training to equip employees with tools and resources to better serve visitors. The web-based training is free to the industry and available at www.OregonQCare.com.
Alcohol Server and Food Handler Certification training is available through the Oregon Restaurant Education Foundation. OREF also provides classroom training and certification for ServSafe to meet the Person In Charge requirement by DHS.
